CLOSED - Social Media Consultant AVRR Project

 

IOM Czech Republic is looking for a Social Media Consultant for our program “Assisted Voluntary Returns and Reintegration“ no. AMIF/18/01 (RR.0060) which is financed within the framework of the national programme of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the budget of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic on consultant basis according to the Terms of Reference below. I. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE

 

Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.

 

The IOM Assisted Voluntary Return program in Czech Republic has been implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior since 2001. Under its new phase launched on 1st June this year, the program will be strengthened by supporting activities, namely targeted outreach. Social media will become the core outreach tool and IOM will cooperate with professionals to achieve the goal.  Audio-visual material available on the AVRR website and through social media will be the backbone of the campaign. IOM will seek to raise awareness of AVRRs among the target group through the project implementation period.  AVRR dedicated, multilingual web page will be created and launched. It will provide basic information about AVRR process, eligibility criteria, available benefits, contact details, etc. The audio-visual content will be interlinked with social media.  It will be designed to make the AVRR information easy to understand across age groups and cultures.

 

II. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Purpose

 

The main purpose of the assignment is to ensure broad knowledge and understanding of the program across migrant communities and among individuals through social media.

 

Main tasks

 

The consultant will conduct full scale social media campaign focusing on third-country nationals staying in Czech Republic namely Vietnamese, Mongolians and Russian-speaking migrants.

 

•       Cooperation with the project team on the social media campaign structure and design, including registration and creation of the project profiles (pages)

 

•       Conducting the social media campaign and optimizing its impact on the specified target groups (incl. the impact analysis)

 

•       Creating at least one promotional video a month

 

•       Creating at least 4 posts per month

 

•       Communication with the target group (timely responds to chats, questions and other forms of subsequent communication)

 

•       Participation on activities linked to the campaign, namely meetings with the target groups, design of audio-visual material, design and distribution of other products supporting the campaign

 

•       Cooperation on reporting the impact to the donor

 

 

III. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

•       Experience in migration topics, specifically return and reintegration

 

•       Demonstrated experience in social media campaigns

 

•       Knowledge of IOM project management cycles and of principles and processes of AVRR project implementation would be an advantage

 

•      Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrated ability of making effective presentations to diverse audiences

 

•       Excellent written and spoken Mongolian and/or Russian and/or Vietnamese

 

•        Professional proficiency in Czech and English
